How We Protect Your Personal Information
Dating X ("Dating X," "we," "us," or "our") provides personalized matchmaking, dating coaching, and related relationship services through our website datingx.co (the "Site") and in connection with our offline matchmaking practice. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

Dating X is based in California and provides matchmaking and dating coaching services to clients located throughout California and other U.S. states. This Policy applies to all visitors to our Site and all clients who engage us for matchmaking, coaching, or related services.
---
2. Information We Collect
Because matchmaking requires an unusually deep understanding of who you are, we collect more personal information than a typical business. This may include:
**Identity & Contact Information**
Name, date of birth, gender identity, address, phone number, email address, photographs, and government ID (where needed to verify identity or age).
**Relationship & Personal Profile Information**
Relationship history, sexual orientation, relationship goals, values, personality traits, family background, lifestyle habits, physical description, income range or financial circumstances as relevant to matchmaking, religious or spiritual beliefs, and other characteristics you share with us to help us find compatible matches.
**Communications**
Messages you send us, messages exchanged during coaching or matchmaking sessions, call notes, and ‚ where you've engaged our dating app management services ‚ messages sent and received on your behalf on third-party dating platforms.
**Payment Information**
Billing name, address, and payment details processed through our third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our own systems.
**Technical & Website Usage Information**
IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies or similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
**Sensitive Personal Information**
Some of the information above ‚ including sexual orientation, health-related information you choose to share, and precise location (in limited cases, such as app-based location management) ‚ qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under California law. We collect this only where necessary to provide matchmaking and coaching services, and we limit its use and disclosure accordingly.

- Communicate with you about your account, appointments, and services

4. How We Share Your Information
Matchmaking, by its nature, requires sharing certain information with others. Here's how and with whom:
**Other Matchmakers & Matchmaking Partners**
We may share relevant portions of your profile with other independent matchmakers, matchmaking agencies, or partner organizations (such as Little Gay Book) in order to identify and coordinate potential matches on your behalf. We share only what's reasonably necessary for that purpose, and we expect these partners to handle your information responsibly. We do not control the privacy practices of independent matchmakers outside our organization, so we encourage you to ask any matchmaker we introduce you to about their own data practices.
**Potential Matches**
With your consent, elements of your profile (such as a first name, photos, and relevant compatibility information) may be shared with a potential match as part of the introduction process.
**Service Providers**
We share information with vendors who help us operate our business ‚ such as payment processors, scheduling software (e.g., Calendly), client management platforms (e.g., Level Connections), email and communications tools, and hosting providers. These vendors are contractually restricted from using your information for their own purposes.
**Dating Platforms**
If you engage our dating app management services, we access and manage your existing profiles on third-party dating apps (e.g., Hinge, Bumble) on your behalf, per your authorization.
**Legal & Safety Reasons**
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a client, our staff, or the public.
**Business Transfers**
If Dating X is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, client information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
